Fine crop fibers collect around rotating shafts and work behind exposed seal lips. At the same time, high gearbox temperature reduces elastomer resilience and thins the oil. Leakage and contamination then accelerate bearing wear, noise, and overheating.
This heat-stable combine gearbox cassette seal uses multiple exclusion lips, a protected primary lip, and an integrated running surface. The enclosed system blocks chaff and dust before they reach the sealing edge while maintaining reliable contact under vibration and minor shaft movement.
The seal helps retain gearbox oil, reduce abrasive contamination, protect bearings and gears, and prevent emergency repairs during harvest. It is suitable for final drives, transmissions, wheel ends, and other critical combine assemblies.
Heat-stable combine cassette seals control chaff-driven leakage in high-temperature harvester gearboxes. They support cleaner lubrication, longer component life, and fewer harvest interruptions.
